Surrey Steps Up

Surrey Steps Up is an annual event that showcases the positive community work youth have been doing through the city. This year we are offering five bursaries of $500 to those who are ‘stepping up’.

Youth Cooking Showdown

Join us at one of four recreation centers throughout Surrey for a chance to compete at the 2022 Fusion Festival on the brand-new Cultural Cooking Arena. You and four other friends can compete for a chance to be crowned the Cooking Showdown Champions and to win some amazing prizes!

Drop in at any recreation center below for your opportunity to show off your great cooking skills!

Leadership and Volunteering

From joining Surrey's Leadership Youth Council, to planning events with the Youth Events Squad or connecting to nature with Surrey's Youth Stewardship Squad, there are many ways to engage with peers, develop your leadership skills and support the community.

Free Youth Membership

Get your free annual Youth Membership at any recreation facility when you purchase a free annual Recreation Pass. The Youth Membership gives children ages 10 to 18 access to drop-in activities and our youth lounges where you play games, make friends, use sports equipment and more!
