Park information

Most of Al Cleaver Park is forest. A deep ravine cuts through the centre of the park, making much of the area inaccessible. But, you'll find a number of natural area trails in the west section of the park.

Access trails from 100 Avenue at 119A Street, or from the east end of River Road. At the end of River Road, you'll also find the starting point of the Tannery Greenway, which runs east through the park, across Scott Creek and Northeast along Scott Road.

Al Cleaver Park is one of the oldest park sites in the City, with the subdivision of land around the park dating back to 1891. The park was named after the former Fire Chief of Surrey, Mr. Al Cleaver, who was recognized as a Surrey Civic Treasure in 2010.
