Park Information

Edgewood Park is the next great neighborhood park, providing space for all to connect through nature and play. Acquired in 1951, this 3.9 hectare (9.6 acres) park served as the location for the Sunnyside Saddle Club for many decades. It is now in the middle of a rapidly growing neighbourhood and being transformed to provide amenities for the community.

The park was designed through a community consultation process, including two open houses (November 28, 2017 and May 8, 2018) and a community site meeting on February 3, 2020. Review the related documents for more information:

After preliminary project work, collecting feedback from residents, revising the concept plan and finalizing detail design plans, the park is now under construction.
