Park information

Tannery Park is located in the industrial lands of the South Westminster area of Surrey, at the foot of Tannery Road. Despite its industrial surroundings, the park is located in a unique part of the Fraser River, adjacent to over 6 hectares (15 acres) of mud flats and tidal estuary. The park offers waterfront access to the Fraser River, and is an ideal spot to relax and watch the birds. A small parking lot is accessible from the end of Tannery Road, next to a small fenced in dog off-leash area.

Tannery Dog off-leash Area

Tannery Park offers a fenced in dog off-leash area, separated from the more sensitive waterfront area. It provides a grass field and trails with views across the river to New Westminster. The off-leash area measures around half a hectare (1.25 acres). Note that this park offers the same area for dogs of different sizes.
