See your City's history through the historical photographs at Surrey Archives.

See It to Believe It

The Surrey Archives collects photographic prints, negatives and slides, documenting Surrey’s architecture, people, organizations, services, transportation, activities and public events.

The collection includes photographs taken by everyday citizens, as well as local photographers, like Roy Houghton, Neville Curtis and W.W. Hastings. Including those of both historical and human interest, our photographs have been used for school assignments, books, advertisements, public art, documentaries and more. Over 50,000 Surrey photographs are digitized and can be viewed at your leisure through our online heritage search.
