The Adventures in Theatre Series is the perfect way to get your theatre fix all season long! When you buy any ticket series, you are also eligible to save $5 per ticket on any individual show presented by Surrey Civic Theatres. For this offer, please call the Box Office.

Gloria, a former celebrity TV chef, played by the inimitable Patti Allan, is finally reuniting with her estranged grandchild, Alex. However, the temperature heats up when Alex, played by Rae Takei, comes out as non-binary and opens a ‘genderational’ divide. Can Gloria and Alex find the perfect mix for their family recipe? Or will it all bubble over and explode? Without sugar-coating, To Perfection tackles the issues of modern life and family conflict in relatable and hilarious way, ensuring audiences of all ages will find this play contains all the right ingredients for the perfect food-for-thought theatre outing.

In this energetic production, Juliet tears herself from the fabric of the narrative and exits the theatre determined to write her own story. Wandering through the canon of Shakespeare’s greatest plays, she encounters other renowned female characters (Lady Macbeth, Ophelia, Cleopatra, and Miranda) and recruits this team of kick-ass women to confront Shakespeare. Written by Pippa Mackie (East Van Panto, Progressive Polygamists) and Ryan Gladstone (Til Death, The Canada Show), this exceedingly witty show breathes new life into Shakespeare’s well-loved classics and is certain to be an entertaining evening for all!
