To keep your visit safe, masks are required for those over 12. Beginning September 13, patrons will also be required to show proof of their vaccination certificate as well as government ID to enter Surrey Civic Theatres.

Welcome back! This Autumn get that theatre fix you’ve been craving with one of Surrey Civic Theatres fabulous fall shows. From September to December audiences can expect a wide-range of performances—everything from award-winning theatre shows to duelling pianos. These shows are guaranteed to be a unique experience and a delightful way to get back to that in-person experience. Limited tickets available.

 

Conspiracy Now: Is Democracy Dead?

Why be an audience when you can be a participant? Part interactive game, part social discussion, part theatrical performance, come enjoy theatre like you’ve never experienced it before! Through the lens of social media, Conspiracy Now: Is Democracy Dead? examines global movements like the Farmer Protests in India to see how and why social media manipulates and separates us.

 

An Evening with The Piano Men

Let musical wizards, The Piano Men, entertain you with an energetic show filled with musical magic. Putting their own, unique spin on time-tested musical favourites, The Piano Men—Richard Sera and Andre Kunkel—take dueling pianos to a whole new level. Expect to be dazzled by the simple, classic sound of two pianists belting out hits by the greats, including Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Billy Joel, and Elton John. These two high-energy performers are willing to try just about ANYTHING in the name of fun to guarantee an exciting show!

Combining cabaret, theatre, and burlesque, this award-winning show will knock your socks off! This one-woman musical tells the story of Josephine Baker, the first African American international superstar, and one of the 20th century’s most formidable icons. Josephine’s fascinating and remarkable life story is brought to life in a dazzling display of talent by Tymisha Harris, who also co-wrote the show. This is a tour-de-force performance that will leave you inspired and uplifted by a legendary and fearless woman, who was truly light years ahead of her time.

 

Tom Jackson: Stories, Songs and Santa Causes

Tom Jackson kickstarts the holiday season with grace, style, and quirky festivity that many have enjoyed for decades. Expect an evening of original music, sing-along tunes, and signature Christmas music from this master storyteller. Tom has travelled coast to coast to coast with The Huron Carole for many years, raising funds and awareness for local food banks and family service agencies, and this year, Surrey audiences will get to enjoy some of his in-person charm. Stories, Songs and Santa Causes will also feature award-winning musician Tom McKillip, in a performance that is sure to be a delightful and meaningful evening for all.

 

The Vancouver Welsh Men's Choir: Sing We Now of Christmas

If you are of the opinion that “It’s not Christmas till the Welsh Men Sing” you’ll be delighted to know that the local favourites will be back once again this year. A Surrey Christmas tradition for over 30 years, the internationally acclaimed Vancouver Welsh Men’s Choir (VWMC) will return to the Main Stage at Surrey Arts Centre to lift your spirits and hearts with some seasonal cheer.

Coffee Concerts are Back! Spend a morning listening to the melodic Sounds of the harp and piano…Perfection!  Surrey Civic Theatres are thrilled to present the ever-popular Coffee Concerts for your entertainment. This December performance features the Bergmann Piano Duo alongside harpists and sisters, Miya, and Kaori Otake. This programme will include beautiful, inspiring, and uplifting music that will feature much-loved pieces by composers such as Bach, Gounod, Saint-Saens, and Franck. It’s the perfect show to enjoy this winter!
