MNMF Staffing Contract

Title: MNMF Staffing Contract

Request for Proposals

The City of Surrey, in partnership with United Way of the Lower Mainland and the MNMF Steering Committee, is seeking a lead consultant or consulting firm to provide the staffing resources required for Phase One of the MNMF Guildford West initiative, focusing on key activities and deliverables outlined in RFP document.  Our preference is to engage one consultant or consulting firm to lead this work; however, we will also accept individual applications for each of the four positions outlined, should a lead consultant/consulting firm not be successful.

Project Description
In 2013, United Way of the Lower Mainland began making a five-year investment in My Neighbourhood, My Future (MNMF); an early years-focused, place-based initiative, designed to address the development vulnerability of young children.  Surrey's neighbourhood of Guildford West was chosen as one of the two pilot/innovation sites for MNMF - invited to design and implement citizen engagement processes that identify and enact local strategies for reducing vulnerability rates, over time.

Term of Contract
February 15 - September 30, 2014 with potential to extend some elements of the work.
