Road & Watermain Construction Package R07/12


CONTRACT M.S.1713-007-11 

Tenders are invited for:

  • Road improvements on 70 Avenue, from 121 Street to 122 Street, including new road complete with curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, relocated ditch, watermain, drainage works, streetlights, planting of trees & shrubs, and fencing
  • Road improvements on 122 Street, from 70 Avenue to 72 Avenue, including road realignment complete with concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalks, milling of existing asphalt, drainage works, streetlights, traffic signal works, planting of trees and shrubs, and fencing

  • Watermain improvements on 121 Street, from 70 Avenue to 70A Avenue, including installation of a 300mm diameter watermain

The Scope of Work consists of 7700 cu.m of excavation, 11700 tonne of granular material, 1400m of concrete curb, 1800 sq.m of concrete sidewalk, 2300 tonne of asphaltic concrete, 330m of watermain, traffic signal works, streetlighting, and planting of trees and shrubs.

Tenders must be submitted in a sealed package, marked on the outside with "Tenders for Road & Watermain Construction Package R07/12, 70 Avenue: 121 Street to 122 Street; 122 Street: 70 Avenue to 72 Avenue; and 121 Street: 70 Avenue to 70A Avenue" and must be received at the first floor Main Reception/Information Desk, Surrey City Hall, 13450-104 Avenue, Surrey, BC Canada V3T 1V8, not later than 11:00am (local time), on June 12, 2014, and will be opened in public immediately thereafter.

Copies of the Drawings, Tender Submission Documents and Contract Documents may be viewed at Vancouver Regional Construction Association, 3636 East 4th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V5M 1M3, and the Engineering Department Front Counter at Surrey City Hall.

Copies thereof may be purchased from Aplin & Martin Consultants Ltd. (Surrey Office) at:
#201, 12448 – 82 Avenue, Surrey, BC V3W 3E9 on payment of the non refundable sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00), GST inclusive. Cheques should be made payable to Aplin & Martin Consultants Ltd.
