Tree Management Services at the South Surrey Operations Centre

Request for Quotations

The City of Surrey is requesting a quotation for the removal of trees at:

16666 - 24th Avenue
16615 - 23rd Avenue

Work Description
This project is estimated to impact 250 trees.  Work must be completed by qualified tree fallers with the required WorkSafe BC qualifications and insurance requirements.  The Contractor shall ensure that no underground services are in conflict with the Work.

The Work is anticipated to start on June 1, 2015 and anticipated completion by July 15, 2015.

The goal of the City is to recycle the trees from the site in the construction of the new South Surrey Operations Centre.  In consideration of this, any trees deemed to be construction grade will be stockpiled and retained on site as directed by the City.

Any trees removed that are not suitable for construction but are considered to have commercial value should be assessed, timber marked and transported for processing.  All recoverable value associated will be entitled to the City of Surrey.

All remaining trees must be fallen and cleared, and material shall be hauled and disposed off-site.
