Request for Quotations

The City of Surrey invites interested janitorial companies that employ environmentally preferable "green" practices and use environmentally preferable products as part of their janitorial service to provide a quotation for the approximately 77,000 sq. ft. City Centre Library located at 10350 University Drive, Surrey, BC.

Every employee or individual retained by the Contractor in performing and providing the Services at the Library should have successfully completed a Building Service Worker course.

Scope of Services
The Contract Services to be provided comprise the cleaning of offices and associated internal and external areas (where applicable).

The Contractor shall at all times during the term of the Contract, have an on-site Supervisor charged with the responsibility of supervising the cleaning operations at the Library.

The Contractor must provide all equipment (professional/commercial quality) necessary for the performance of the Contract.

The Contractor shall furnish, pay for and maintain an adequate inventory of all cleaning supplies required to perform the Services.

If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City's Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at (the "BC Bid Website") and the City Website at (the "City Website") that will form part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractor to check the BC Bid Website and the City Website for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation, the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
