The City of Surrey (the "Owner") has engaged a construction manager, Heatherbrae Builders Co. Ltd. to coordinate and manage the New Addition Construction at Newton Recreation Center (formerly known as the Newton Wave Pool).  The construction manager is issuing Request for Quotations - Trade Contractors as follows:

A trade site meeting has been arranged for December 9th, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Newton Recreation Centre, 13730 - 72nd Avenue, Surrey, British Columbia.  While attendance is at the discretion of bidders, bidders who do not attend will be deemed to have attended the site meeting and to have received all of the information given at the site meeting.

It is the sole responsibility of the tenderer to monitor Heatherbrae's shared site regularly to check for updates.

Neither the Owner or constructon manager will be responsible for verbal interpretations.  Only addenda in writing will be considered in interpretations of the contract documents.  Neither the Owner nor construction manager shall be responsible for failure of any bidders to receive any such addenda.

Tenders should be submitted in a sealed envelope, marked on the outside with the above Title, Reference No. and [preferred package reference], and must be received at Heatherbrae Builders Co. Ltd., 140 - 12371 Horseshoe Way, Richmond, B.C. V7A 4X6.

Tender closing Wednesday, December 23rd, 2015 @ 2:00 p.m.  Late sbmissions will not be accepted or considered, and will be returned unopened.  Tenders will be opened in private and no formal decision will be made until the construction manager and the Owner have completed a detailed review.

If the construction manager chooses to bid any scope of work in this solicitation, it will be required that their submission be sent directly to the Owner's Purchasing Section, in a sealed envelope, and must be received 24 hours prior to the closing time.
