Surrey Subarea Transportation Model Development

Request for Proposals

PURPOSE

The City seeks a qualified Proponent with recent local government experience to provide consulting services in developing a subarea transportation model.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

The Consultant will develop a Surrey Subarea Transportation Model based on a refinement of the RTM Phase 3 to include the level of detail necessary to access local transportation scenarios and also to producing meaningful outputs for upcoming projects and initiatives.  Refinements to all the RTM’s time slices (AM/midday/PM) will be required.

This project will be conducted into phases, with each subsequent phase commencing only after completion and sign-off on the current phase and approval to proceed with the subsequent phase.

If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFP, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca (the “BC Bid Website”) and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (the “City Website”) that will form part of this RFP.  No amendment of any kind to the RFP is effective unless it is posted in a formal written addendum on the City Website.  Upon submitting a Proposal, Proponents will be deemed to have received notice of all addenda that are posted on the City Website.
