Request for Quotations

PURPOSE
The Contractor is to provide everything required including all skilled labour, tools, materials, equipment for City of Surrey Arts Centre Sign Replacement and any other requirements. The Goods will use the current support structure and needs to be highly visible day and night. It will not require specialized training to program constantly changing content and will have the ability to present still images, video and animation.

SPECIFICATIONS OF GOODS AND SCOPE OF SERVICES

The project consists of the replacement of obsolete components within an existing support structure with new hardware equipment and operating technology that will provide best practice technology for promoting programming. The hardware and software is expected to have an anticipated lifespan of 10 years and in a form that could be replaced as needed with updated hardware components and software technology.

The Goods and Services to be provided by the Contractor include but are not limited to the following:

  • Removal and disposal of all out-dated components with in the permanent sign structure;
  • Supply, delivery and installation of the new Arts Centre Signage components including hardware, software and operating systems that reside within the current structure. Must fit into current permanent structure; and
  • Training and maintenance.

Addenda
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City’s Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca (the “BC Bid Website”) and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (the “City Website”) that will form a part of this RFQ.  It is the responsibility of Contractor to check the BC Bid Website and the City Website for addenda.  The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum.  No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor.  By delivery of a Quotation, the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
