Request for Quotations

The City invites Quotations from experienced and qualified modular building fabrication Contractors for all skilled labour, tools, materials and equipment for the fabrication, furnishing and installation of one pilot-project PWMU in 2018, with the likely expansion of the program involving an additional five units for a total of six, delivered two per year in 2018, 2019, and 2020 respectively.

The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of PWMUs to be fabricated, delivered and installed and does not guarantee that any PWMUs will be fabricated, delivered and installed.

It is envisioned that they will be primarily constructed of concrete to protect against vandalism. The PWMU should be aesthetically pleasing, taking full advantage of the contemporary concrete fabrication possibilities and methods, to enhance the neighborhood curb appeal as well as demonstrating safety and sustainability.

The detailed scope of work is as described in Schedule A, Schedule A1 and Schedule A2 of the RFQ document.

The Contractor is responsible for the turnkey fabrication and installation of the PWMU, delivery, installation, fixtures, and equipment.
