Request for Expressions of Interest and Statements of Qualifications

The Cloverdale Athletic Park Fieldhouse, located at 6348 - 168th Street Surrey, BC is a 2-storey change room and community meeting facility. The proposed budget is $2.6M with anticipated construction duration of 42 weeks beginning February 2019.

Preferred Qualifications
The City prefers that the Respondent is a general contractor that has experience, capability and resources with projects consisting of the following:

Washroom / change room facilities
Civic projects
Vandal-resistant construction

The works to be completed may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Concrete foundations and floor slabs
  • Masonry
  • Wood framing and rough carpentry
  • Drywall and finish carpentry
  • Painting
  • Storefront glazing systems
  • Door and windows
  • Architectural woodwork
  • HVAC
  • Plumbing
  • Common electrical + lighting
  • Civil siteworks
  • Landscaping

Addenda
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFEOI/SOQ, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca (the “BC Bid Website”) and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (the “City Website”) that will form part of this RFEOI/SOQ.  No amendment of any kind to the RFEOI/SOQ is effective unless it is posted in a formal written addendum on the City Website.
