DESCRIPTION OF SCOPE OF WORK
To provide all labour, supervision, materials, plant, equipment, layout, survey, permits, and inspections, and related services to video inspect storm sewer mains, flood boxes and manholes as noted in the drawings.
The general components of the work include zoom camera video inspection of storm mains, manhole inspections, provision for traffic control, and other related works.
The Work will be undertaken at the Place of the Work. The Place of the Work is in the drainage sub-catchments of the following Surrey neighbourhoods:
- City Centre
- Fraser Heights
- Dykes and Sea Dams of the Fraser, Nicomekl & Serpentine Rivers
The lack of and/or omission of detailed specifications does not minimize the acceptable levels of service and only the best commercial practices are acceptable.
The Work under this Contract is to be completed not later than:
October 31, 2019 for the CCTV inspections and no later than November 30, 2019 for completion of any remaining minor weather related sensitive work.
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca (the “BC Bid Website”) and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (the “City Website”) that will form part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractors to check the BC Bid Website and the City Website for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation, the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
