80 Avenue Arterial Widening 120 Street to 128 Street

The Owner invites tenders for:

The work includes widening of arterial roadway, installation of
sidewalks, multi-use pathways, storm mains, streetlights, signalized
intersection, and pedestrian crossing.
Tenders are invited for works under Contract 1721-009-11 involving the
installation of approximately:
· 5,800 m of Concrete Curb;
· 1,300 m2 of Concrete Sidewalks;
· 6,500 m2 of Asphalt Pathway;
· 20,000 tonne of Granular Materials;
· 6,300 tonne of Superpave Asphalt;
· 270 m of Storm Mains;
· Thermoplastic Pavement Markings;
· Streetlighting; and
· Traffic Signal Works.

This tender is being issued electronically through the BC Bid website (www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca) where any interested party may download the tender documents directly from the BC Bid website. It is the sole responsibility of the tenderer to monitor the BC Bid website regularly to check for updates.

The Contract is based on the MMCD Platinum Edition and the City’s Supplementary MMCD (April, 2020)

Tenders should be submitted in a sealed package, marked on the outside with “Tenders for 1721-009-11”and must be received at the first floor Main Reception/Information Desk, Surrey City Hall, 13450-104 Avenue, Surrey, B.C. Canada V3T 1V8. Note the City has resumed opening tenders publicly at Surrey City Hall. Tenders are welcome to join the tender openings.
