Request for Proposals
The City of Surrey (the “City”) seeks an experienced and qualified professional Consultant to co-ordinate and facilitate the In-Class and On-Bike education program covering one-half (up to fifty (50)) of all Surrey public elementary schools during the 2018/2019 school year.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The Consultant’s primary role will be to facilitate education, encouragement-related initiatives, and to collect and analyze data on the effectiveness of the program in terms of change in cycling mode share to and from school, as well as the retainment of cycling skills, safety, and knowledge
The Consultant should identify an employee with experience delivering educational outreach programs who will be responsible for delivery of the program requirements:
- School Recruitment and Registration;
- In-Class & On-Bike Education;
- Data Collection, Analysis, & Reporting; and
- Evaluation of Program Effectiveness.

If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFP, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca (the “BC Bid Website”) and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (the “City Website”) that will form part of this RFP. No amendment of any kind to the RFP is effective unless it is posted in a formal written addendum on the City Website. Upon submitting a Proposal, Proponents will be deemed to have received notice of all addenda that are posted on the City Website.
