Core Security Infrastructure - Data Centre

1. SUMMARY

The City of Surrey (the “City”) intends to issue a competitive solicitation for the provision of Core Security Infrastructure – Data Centre (the “Goods and Services”) to be used by the City as further described in the City’s competitive solicitation documents.

2. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

In consideration of the City issuing a competitive solicitation to a potential Contractor and the City potentially disclosing confidential information to a potential Contractor related to and/or for purposes of the competitive solicitation the potential Contractor is required to complete the City’s attached Attachment 1 [Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement].  This Attachment 1 [Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement] must be executed by a signatory with the authority to bind each member of the Contractor’s team, and for clarity such signatory may be different than the Contractor’s representative(s).

This competitive solicitation document will only be issued to potential Contractors who have requested, received and signed the City’s Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement and that Quotations received from Contractors who have not submitted the Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement from the City will not be considered.

3. ADDRESS FOR DELIVERY

The Contractor should submit the attached Attachment 1 [Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement] electronically in a single pdf file which must be delivered to the City by email at: purchasing@surrey.ca The City will confirm receipt of emails.

A Contractor bears all risk that the City’s computer equipment functions properly so that the City receives the Attachment 1 [Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement].

4. DATE

The City would prefer to receive Attachment 1 [Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement] on or before June 5, 2020.

The competitive solicitation document is currently being developed.  Once we have developed this competitive solicitation document and are in a position to proceed further, we will email the competitive solicitation document(s) direct to the Authorized Signatory identified in Attachment 1.
