Fleetwood Community Recreation Centre - Re-Cladding

INVITATION TO TENDER

The City of Surrey (the "Owner") invites Tenders for the general construction of a Re-Cladding of Fleetwood Community Recreation Centre and other related work, located at 15996 - 84th Avenue, Surrey, BC V4N 0W1.

To be considered, Tenderers should have:

• Qualified technical and skilled trades personnel should have a minimum of 5 years proven experience in site servicing, concrete work, pre-cast panels and general construction.

The Tender Price is to be inclusive of all supervision, coodination, Construction Equipment, labour, disposals, materials and incidentals required to complete the Work as described herein these Tender Documents.

Tender specifications and drawings are available for downloading from the Owner’s Managed File Transfer (MFT) Service.  Access instructions available in ITT document.

This Tender is being issued electronically through the Owner’s website (www.surrey.ca) and BC Bid website (www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca) where any interested party may download the Tender Documents directly from these websites.  No registration, tracking or other recording of Tender Document holders will be performed by the Owner.  All addenda, or further information will be published through these websites.  It is the sole responsibility of the Tenderer to monitor these websites regularly to check for updates.

The Contract is based on the Canadian Construction Documents Committee CCDC 2 Stipulated Price Contract, 2008 edition and the City of Surrey, Supplementary General Conditions.

A Tender should be labelled with the Tenderer’s name, Tender title and reference number.  A Tender should be submitted in the form attached to this ITT as Part C – Form of Tender accompanied by a copy of the original Bid Bond in an amount of ten (10) percent of the Tender Price.
