HVAC Unit Replacement, Surrey Sport and Leisure Complex

The Work covered under this project consists of the furnishing of all superintendence, overhead, skilled labour, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, fuel, transportation and all things necessary for and incidental to the satisfactory performance and completion of replacement of Surrey Sport and Leisure HVAC Replacements, located at Surrey Sport and Leisure 16555 Fraser Highway #100, Surrey, British Columbia (the “Place of Work”) in strict accordance with the Specifications and accompanying Drawings and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract.

The Work consists of but is not necessarily limited to the following:
• Supply and installation of four roof top units, five AC units, one MUA unit and all associated electrical, controls and roof repairs
• Removal and disposal of four existing roof top units, five AC units and one MUA unit.
• Installation of new Standard or High efficient RTU(s) (Dependant on separate pricing),
• All Hoisting and moving of old and new units,
• New curbs and sleepers as necessary and roofing repairs, and
• All associated electrical, DDC controls and seismic.
• All work noted in construction notes and mechanical and electrical specification

INFORMATION MEETING

An information meeting will be hosted by the City Representative to discuss the City’s requirements under this RFQ (the “Information Meeting”). While attendance is at the discretion of Contractors, Contractors who do not attend will be deemed to have attended the Information Meeting and to have received all of the information given at the Information Meeting. Attendee to the information meeting must have government issue identification (Driver’s license/BC I.D.)

At the time of issuance of this RFQ a meeting has been scheduled as follows:

ADDENDA

If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the City website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”), and upon posting, any addenda will form a part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractors to check the Websites for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
