Intersection Improvement Package #3

INVITATION TO TENDERERS

The Owner invites tenders for:
Contract 1720-005-21, involving improvements to three (3) intersections within the City of Surrey.

The Work includes construction of two new roundabouts, one at Harvie Road and 88 Avenue, the other at 140 Street and 32 Avenue, and a signalized intersection at 7100 block of 120 Street. The Work generally includes but is not limited to:

- McElhanney Ltd - Site 01 (Harvie Road and 88 Avenue)
o 1,100 metres of new concrete curb & gutter
o 700 square metres of concrete sidewalk
o 6,900 tonnes of imported granular material
o 5,000 cubic metres of common excavation
o 1,500 tonnes of asphalt
o 290 metres of new storm main

- McElhanney Ltd - Site 02 (Block 7100 of 120 Street)
o 50 metres of new concrete curb & gutter
o 150 square metres of concrete sidewalk
o 100 tonnes of imported granular material
o 200 cubic metres of common excavation
o 30 tonnes of asphalt

- Aplin Martin - Site 01 (140 Street and 32 Avenue)
o 830 metres of new concrete curb & gutter
o 480 square metres of concrete sidewalk
o 3,400 tonnes of imported granular material
o 2,200 cubic metres of common excavation
o 1,300 tonnes of asphalt
o 70 metres of new storm main

This tender is being issued electronically through the BC Bid website ( www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca ) where any interested party may download the tender documents directly from the BC Bid website. No registration, tracking or other recording of tender document holders will be performed by the Owner. All addenda, or further information will be published through the BC Bid website. It is the sole responsibility of the tenderer to monitor the BC Bid website regularly to check for updates.

Tenders should be submitted in a sealed package, marked on the outside with “Tenders for Contract 1720-005-21, Intersection Improvement Package #3“ and must be received at the first floor Main Reception/Information Desk, Surrey City Hall, 13450-104 Avenue, Surrey, B.C. Canada V3T 1V8.
