Addendum

REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS

SPECIFICATIONS OF GOODS AND SCOPE OF SERVICES

The specifications, installation and subsequent maintenance of the Goods must meet the requirements and specifications set out by the “Electrical Specifications for City of Surrey RCMP HQ UPS Replacement” document as published by O’M Engineering Inc and provided in Schedule A-1.

The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labour, materials, supplies, and transportation necessary to supply, deliver and install the Good(s) and any spare parts and performance of the Services in accordance with this Agreement.

All major components of the equipment must be manufactured or distributed by the original equipment manufacturer and advertised on a factory brochure as a standard or optional component.

The unit bid shall not be of a make or model that has been or is foreseen in the near future to be a discontinued model of a company that regularly manufactures such equipment. If so desired, the City reserves the right to require any or all bidders to verify, in writing, that the units bid are not a manufacturer’s discontinued model, prototypes, experimental or one of a kind models are not acceptable. This equipment is described with a combination of integral and integrated design and construction in sufficient detail to secure bids on comparable equipment.

INFORMATION MEETING

An information meeting will be hosted by the City Representative to discuss the City’s requirements under this RFQ (the “Information Meeting”). While attendance is at the discretion of Contractors, Contractors who do not attend will be deemed to have attended the Information Meeting and to have received all of the information given at the Information Meeting. Attendee to the information meeting must have government issue identification (Driver’s license/BC I.D.) and complete a City Covid-19 form to enter.

At the time of issuance of this RFQ a meeting has been scheduled as follows:

ADDENDA
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”), and upon posting, any addenda will form part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractors to check the Websites for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation, the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
