GENERAL PROJECT INFORMATION
Opening and closing services of various city park entrance gates, picnic shutters, and public washrooms facilities is an important element of the Park Facility Operations maintenance program within the City. The frequency and scope of the Services varies between parks, with effective service delivery required to best meet the diverse needs of park visitors, sport user groups, City sponsored events and security requirements. Service delivery occurs across two seasonal time frames; Services are scheduled in 52 parks during the High Season and 39 parks in the Low Season, both with varying time schedules. Some sites have multiple gates and/or multiple sets of doors that require services.
The City anticipates the following Scope of Services:
- provide the locking and unlocking of various City park assets.
- electronically document all completed services via an approved application (“APP”), compatible with IOS and Android systems which will be provided by the City for streamlined documentation of all service reports.
- provide a direct support representative(s) that the City can contact.
