REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS FOR STANDING OFFER AGREEMENTS

SPECIFICATIONS OF GOODS AND SCOPE OF SERVICES

The City is seeking experienced and qualified Applicants with proven ability to service and repair a variety of water, sewage, and drainage pumps and pump components (“Services”) and provide the necessary replacement parts (“Goods”) as required to complete the Services. Services will be performed at various locations within the City on an “as and when” required basis. The Goods and Services include without limitation the supply and delivery of material, the provision of skilled labour, and equipment to provide the Goods and perform the Services and other requirements of this RFA-SOA in the City.

The required Goods and Services may include, but are not limited to:
(a) Schedule maintenance of a variety of water, sewage, and drainage pumps and pump components (“Equipment”);
(b) Unscheduled, including emergency, maintenance of Equipment;
(c) Deinstallation of Equipment for service, maintenance or repair as required;
(d) Diagnosing issues in faulty Equipment; and
(e) Providing replacement parts (“Goods”) required for the maintenance of Equipment;
(f) Re-installation of Equipment subsequent to service, maintenance or repair as required;

The preceding list is provided as a sample of the Services that the Applicant may be required to perform. The City reserves the right to make minor amendments to this list as necessary. The actual Goods and Services required will vary from project to project. A list of the City’s current infrastructure of pumps is listed in Schedule A-1 to be used for reference only.

The Applicant should be prepared to submit a list of potential subcontractors for approval by the City prior to the commencement of any project. The Applicant is responsible for supervising and coordinating all Goods and Services delegated to the subcontractor(s) and for the proper execution of the Goods and Services.

ADDENDA

If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFA-SOA, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca (the “BC Bid Website”) and the City website at www.surrey.ca (the “City Website”) that will form part of this RFA-SOA. It is the responsibility of Applicants to check the BC Bid Website and the City Website for addenda. The only way this RFA-SOA may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFA-SOA or may be relied upon by any Applicant. By delivery of an Application, Applicant is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFA-SOA including, any and all addenda.
