Addendum

REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS

SPECIFICATIONS OF GOODS AND SCOPE OF SERVICES

The Contractor should provide everything needed to meet all the requirements of this RFQ including, without limitation any and all labour, materials, tools and equipment and transportation necessary to the supply and maintenance of refuse containers (prefer 3 cu. yard bins), and including pick up of refuse from containers at designated the current locations as specified in Schedule A-1(Site List and Time Schedule), including proper disposal of all refuse into Contractor’s refuse hauling vehicle for disposal at a disposal facility. All Services must be performed to the complete satisfaction of the City.

Refuse pick-up will be scheduled as per Schedule A-1 (Site List and Time Schedule). This Schedule provides information on the location, number of bins to be provided and serviced and the requested frequency. Service frequencies are listed seasonally as April to September and October to March.

Only those bins listed in Schedule A-1 (Site List and Time Schedule) for each park site are included and are to be provided and emptied. If the Contractor identifies any other containers located at any of the listed park facilities they are the responsibility of others.

As deemed by the City, call backs for incomplete, unsatisfactory and/or guarantee work, shall be at the sole expense of the Contractor and to the complete satisfaction of the City. The City shall have final authority and sole discretion as to the acceptability.

ADDENDA

If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”), and upon posting, any addenda will form part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractors to check the Websites for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation, the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
