Supply, Delivery, and Spreading of Bulk Fertilizer

REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS

SPECIFICATIONS OF GOODS AND SCOPE OF SERVICES

The Contractor to be competent and capable of performing the requirements under the Agreement. Contractors are to complete the Experience, Reputation and Resources section in Schedule B, which will form part of the Agreement Documents: Quotation Extracts.

The City requests that the Goods and Services be supplied and delivered within the period stipulated in Schedule A-1 – Bulk Spreading Program.
The Contractor will be expected to deliver various quantities of Specialized Sports Turf Fertilizer and Custom Bulk Spreading at times and locations as requested by the City’s Parks Coordinator or a designate.

(a) The Contractor to be responsible for all damage to curbs, pavement, trees, turf existing structures, etc. during the performance of mowing and other landscape maintenance.
(b) All debris and any other matter removed from the contract area(s) to be transported and disposed of in compliance with Federal, Provincial and City laws. All material is to be covered while in transport to prevent spilling.
(c) The Contractor is to keep road adjacent to curb areas and sidewalk clean of soil, debris, grass clippings, etc. at all times.
(d) All mowed and surrounding areas should be left in a tidy condition when work is completed.

ADDENDA
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”), and upon posting, any addenda will form part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractors to check the Websites for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation, the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
