Request for Quotations
PURPOSE
The City invites Quotations from experienced and qualified Contractors for the provision of everything required including all skilled labour, tools, materials, equipment for spreading of sports field sand and deep-tyne aeration and any other requirements.
The list of sports fields to receive spreading of sand and deep-tyne aeration will depend on the condition of each field after the winter soccer season is complete. In 2020, the City applied approximately 1440 metric tonnes of sports field sand and deep-tyne aerated approximately 172,800 square meters.
The information shown in the above paragraph represents historical information only regarding the spreading of sports field sand and deep-tyne aeration in that year, and in no way guarantees future amount of sand and deep-tyne aeration.
SPECIFICATIONS OF GOODS AND SCOPE OF SERVICES
Services to be performed by the Contractor should include but are not limited to the following:
- Supplying, delivering, and applying sports turf top dressing sand; and
- Providing deep-tyne aeration.
The Contractor is to be able to complete a minimum of two (2) regulation sized sports fields per day that encompass full deep-tyne aeration and the spreading of approximately 160 tonnes of top dressing sand.
