Surrey, BC – The City of Surrey congratulates Bill Fordy, Officer in Charge of the Surrey RCMP, for his promotion to Assistant Commissioner.

"Bill Fordy has made invaluable contributions to the people of Surrey and his promotion is well deserved," said Mayor Linda Hepner. "Awarded the Order of Merit in 2014, Bill Fordy’s leadership and progressive approach to policing are hallmarks of his long and distinguished career.
