Road Safety

Improving road safety is an important part of transportation working for everyone. It’s a key part of improving the transportation system and encouraging walking, cycling, and transit.

Each year, Surrey invests in infrastructure to make our roads safer for walking, cycling, and driving. Education and enforcement are important parts of road safety, too. We have regular meetings of the Road Safety Advisory Committee, which includes the City, RCMP, School District and ICBC to discuss ways to make Surrey roads safer.
