Rain Barrels

rain barrel demonstration

A rain barrel collects and stores rain water for watering lawns, plants and gardens. A rain barrel is typically installed next to a building to collect rain water from a downspout (roof drain).

Using rain water instead of tap water for outdoor watering reduces the demand for clean drinking water during the summer months. It can also decrease your utility bill.
