Crescent Beach Drainage Improvements Phase II

Project Description

As part of a comprehensive, multi-phased stormwater management and implementation strategy for the Crescent Beach community, the City’s Engineering Department has completed Phase II of the Crescent Beach Drainage Improvements project.

Drainage improvements are now planned on Agar Street, Gardiner Street, a section of McBride Avenue, Target Street, and the north alignment of O’Hara Lane.

Works included:

  • New storm sewer system with appurtenances,
  • New storm service tie-ins to improve drainage on private properties,
  • Regrading and restoration of boulevard areas and driveways, and
  • Road and pavement work.

This work builds on improvements in Phase I to manage the area’s fluctuating groundwater levels and service Crescent Beach’s long term drainage needs.
