Clayton Community Centre

Clayton Community Centre (Rendering)

The City of Surrey is developing a new community hub in Clayton that integrates arts, library, recreation, and outdoor spaces in a single facility. Clayton Community Centre is a place where the community can connect with their neighbours to play, read and make. Completion of Clayton Community Centre is estimated for summer 2020.

Designed in partnership with HCMA Architecture + Design, Clayton Community Centre will feature social spaces for people to hang out, relax, and communally work.

The facility is designed and constructed according to the Passive House high-performance building standard, meaning that it will consume up to 90% less energy than conventional buildings, reducing the City’s carbon footprint and the operating costs of the facility.
