Whalley

Whalley Athletic Park

This historic Surrey community comprises City Centre, as well as its surrounding areas.

Whalley earned its original name from Mr. Arthur Whalley, who settled near the corner of King George Boulevard and 108th Avenue in 1925. The area, then known as Whalley’s Corner, included a service station and small general store but quickly grew into a bustling commercial centre.
