Aquatics Programs

We’re taking a phased approach with the re-opening of our facilities. Most major civic facilities including Parks, Recreation & Culture and Library facilities remain closed until early September and possibly longer, dependent on three key factors: public safety, demand for service by the public in light of COVID-19 and related fiscal implications.

Staff are currently reviewing each facility alongside this criteria. Please follow for facility re-opening updates.

Learn to swim, become a lifeguard or get fit in the pool. Join an aquatic program at a Surrey indoor pool near you. Our instructors will help you become comfortable in the water and give you the confidence you need to meet your goals.

Life Jacket Fitting Assessment Program

To reduce water related fatalities, the City of Surrey has launched a free, city-wide life jacket fitting assessment program at all indoor and outdoor pools. For more information, please speak to an Aquatic Coordinator at any of our facilities.
