Recreation Programs for Kids (Age 6 to 12)

A child with a City of Surrey Recreation staff.

Does your child love to be active and have fun year-round? The City of Surrey offers many recreation programs for kids ranging from gymnastics and dance to basketball and photography. They can also drop in to one of the MYzone after school programs to take advantage of a safe and supportive environment during the critical after school hours.

“Visiting the recreation centre gives my children an opportunity to interact with other children and keep active. Their smiles tell me that they enjoy it too!” - Alvin S.

Parents' Guide to Choosing a Recreation Program

The City of Surrey, in partnership with the Early Childhood Partnership Group, created the Choosing Quality Recreation - A Parents Guide to help families choose the best program for them.
