The parking lot may be busier than normal between July 13-22, 2018. The 2018 Canada Cup International Softball Championship will be running nearby during this time. Please plan in advance.

Our fully accessible facility offers registered and drop in programs for everyone in the community. We're open seven days a week and offer licensed onsite and offsite preschools, multi-purpose rooms, dedicated arts space, community and youth lounges, gymnasiums, weight room, a café, free parking and free wi-fi.

View the Summer Fitness Drop In Schedule and Summer Gymnasium Drop In Schedule for activities to enjoy. Learn how to book your spot for a drop-in program in advance. Schedules are subject to change without notice.

Summer Drop In Fitness Schedule - Updates:

  • Zumba on Saturdays at 8:15am to 9:15am is cancelled
  • Boot Camp on Saturday at 8:15am to 9:15am is added
  • Saturday's 8:30am to 9:30am Indoor Cycling and Strength class is now changed to Indoor Cycling

Summer Drop In Gymnasium Schedule - Updates:

Arts Programs

South Surrey Recreation & Arts Centre and the Semiahmoo Arts Council offers a variety of arts programs to the community to participate in. Join an art class, attend an art event or drop by the facility to view an exhibition in the Turnbull gallery.

Intergenerational Therapeutic Garden

Located at the South Surrey Recreation & Arts Centre, dedicated staff and volunteers who share a passion for the garden take care of the site and provide educational tours for all ages. This staff and community involvement encourages an awareness of the importance of gardening. Sources Food Bank volunteers grow seasonal produce providing a variety of vegetables for the community and the City of Surrey maintains beds planted with a variety of vegetables, as well as a large herb garden.

    We offer 4,000 square feet of fitness space with a hardwood sprung floor and two walls of mirrors. We also have TRX suspension training classes and a spin studio.
