Jump into the Adventures!

Look to Surrey parks for activities to enjoy with your family when the weather is warm! LIVE 5-2-1-0 playboxes are now available. Unlock the box, enjoy the gear, return it when you're finished and have fun! Bear Creek, Greenaway and Sunnyside outdoor pools (as well as water parks) are also open for free swimming! The remaining outdoor pools will open on June 29. Check out the entire list for more free indoor and outdoor activities.

Enter Worlds of Wonder and see existence transform before your eyes into creations made of colourful LEGO® bricks. Which adventure will you choose? Whether nature, technology or history, inspired bricks will tell the story in a way you've never seen before. A tornado built of LEGO®? Yup! Take a walk back in time to see dinosaurs or medieval castles. Even visit the International Space Station - all without leaving Surrey.

Surrey offers a number of skate parks, and each of them have been designed to offer a variety of tracks and trails to suit all abilities. From the street and plaza terrain at the Cloverdale Youth Park to the flow bowl at the Chuck Bailey, you'll find a level and style that works for you!

Lessons from the Past

Glades Garden Open House

Enjoy the spring with our volunteers to help restore and enhance our parks. Get your hands dirty removing invasive plants. Join others in caring for Surrey's unique urban forest. Everyone is welcome to participate. No experience is required. Tools, training and light refreshments are provided.

This is a great chance to meet other creative youth and work as a team. You do not need previous leadership experience to join. All skill levels welcome.

Lifeguard Information Session

Learn how you can get started on a path towards being a lifeguard or aquatic instructor. Find out about the training process and volunteer opportunities. Attendance to the sessions are free but all participants must be ages 10 and older and register online, in person or by phone to secure their spot.

Thursday Artist Talk: Doreen Brust Johnson, “A Dream is to Write”

A historical fiction novelist tells her story of writing novels while having no formal education beyond grade 11. She takes you through her early years growing up on a Saskatchewan farm to where she is now.

Surrey Youth Stewardship Squad Events

The Surrey Youth Stewardship Squad (SYSS) combines environmental stewardship and leadership in Surrey's unique urban forest. SYSS enhances our parks through hands-on restoration, education at community events, and other unique projects.

Grab your skateboard, scooter or bike and head to the Surrey Rides Event Series. Surrey Rides is open to riders 21 years of age and under, and all skill levels are invited to come to various Youth Parks to build confidence and sharpen their skills in a safe and competitive environment.

Darts Hill Garden Openings
At Darts Hill Garden Park, a large collection of bulbs, perennials, shrubs, and trees bloom from early spring to late summer in an ever-changing palette worthy of several visits. In spring and summer, the garden is open to the public on most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
