Registered Drop-In Activities

As part of our phased approach, Parks, Recreation & Culture facilities will gradually begin to re-open, starting on August 17 with the North Surrey Sport & Ice Complex (arena only). More gradual re-openings will happen on September 8, September 9, and mid-October. Dates are subject to change. Follow surrey.ca/covid19 for specific facility re-opening and safety protocol updates.

Class Cancellations

  • August 13 - Yoga at Newton Athletic Park from 5:45pm to 6:45pm
  • All classes at Holland Park will be cancelled from August 17 to 29

How to Register

Participants must pre-register. On site registrations will not be accepted.

  • Register online with a MySurrey account
  • Call 604-501-5100
    • Registration phone line is open Sunday at 9pm to 11pm
    • Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm for business hours

To ensure fair access for all, registration will open 1 week prior. Registration will close 1 hour before the class begins. 8 person minimum is required for each class to run. To help guide our decision making, we encourage you to join waitlist if classes are full. Please review the ParQ+ fitness assessment sheet prior to registration.

Drop-in Rates

  • Youth (13+ Years) - $3.75
  • Adults (19 to 59 Years) - $7.25
  • Student/Seniors (60 to 69) - $5.50
  • Senior (70+ Years) - $2.00

Swipe Pass

Regular drop-in rates apply or to save money, purchase a 5,10 or 20 swipe pass. Annual memberships will not apply until more services reopen.

Registration Tips

  • All registrants need a MySurrey account to register. Create one ahead of time if you don’t already have one.
  • We recommend using Chrome as your browser for the best experience.
  • If online early, refresh screen when registration opens.

For Everyone's Safety

  • Class size will be limited to 15 participants.
  • Participants will be physically spaced from one another.
  • Please arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to class to sign-in for a health check.
  • Bring your own water and equipment if necessary (i.e. yoga mat, towel).
  • We encourage you to bring your own hand sanitizer. Washrooms & hand sanitizer will be available for hand washing prior to class.
  • Shower and locker facilities are not available.
  • Bring only what you need. The City is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Patrons who are sick will not be allowed to participate.
  • Stay within marked-out area during class.
  • Please clear the area immediately after the class ends.
  • Classes run rain or shine, please dress comfortably, and be ready for a good workout!
  • If a class gets cancelled, it will be communicated to participants via email or phone. 
  • If you are on a waitlist for a class, you will receive notification by phone or email if a spot becomes available. If you have not received notification, you will not be able to participate due to our enhanced safety procedures.
