About Golden Ears Way Eagle

Made of aluminum, this large golden eagle sculpture sits along a marker for Golden Ears Way. This road begins in Surrey and leads to the Golden Ears Bridge that connects Langley with Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge. The eagle has a wingspan of five metres and is finished with powder-coated gold.

The bridge got its name from a local naming contest organized by TransLink. It relates to nearby natural phenomena such as Golden Ears Provincial Park and the golden eagle, a local species featured in information panels along the bike pedestrian lanes of the bridge.
