About the Instructor

You can see Katina’s view on life in the subject matter of her art and her belief that life is beautiful yet flawed. She enjoys painting fruit as they are delicate symbols of abundance and renewal. Her work also includes peaceful, semi-realistic landscapes as places the viewer can imagine themselves resting within. The natural textural effects of monotype, along with calming colours and captivating compositions, draw attention to her favorite subjects. She desires to help herself and others find peace in our fast-paced world.
