Help create an art project that celebrates nature in Surrey! Building on last year's successful event, the Youth Nature Art Jam is going to take place on November 16. Participants will begin with a nature walk through the Green Timbers Urban Forest, and then collaborate with other youth to create a nature-themed art project.

Contact Lauren Crosbie, Stewardship Programs Assistant, at Lauren.Crosbie@surrey.ca if you would like to help plan this event. Planning sessions take place on October 15 and November 6, where participants will have the opportunity to discuss ideas and make decisions regarding the upcoming Youth Nature Art Jam.

Lunch will be provided at the Youth Nature Art Jam –  email Lauren with any dietary restrictions. Youth volunteers can receive volunteer hours for this event by logging into the My Impact Page.

All skill levels welcome. Feel free to bring a friend! The Surrey Nature Centre is accessible by bus and is a 15-minute walk from King George SkyTrain Station.

Presented in partnership with Community Art.
