Join the Surrey Youth Stewardship Squad and environmental writer and filmmaker Isabelle Groc in a screening of the documentary Toad People.

Produced by the Wilderness Committee, Toad People tells the story of people in communities across B.C. who are taking action to save the wildlife in their backyard – whether it’s toads, mountain caribou, rattlesnakes or barn owls.

After the film, there will be a Q&A session and book signing with Isabelle. Learn about the vision behind Toad People and about her two books: Gone is Gone: Wildlife Under Threat and Sea Otters: A Survival Story.
