Building and Living an Anti-Racism Life

Join Kearie Daniel in a workshop focusing on anti-Black racism. We will take you through the ways in which colonialism works in your everyday life and how to dismantle it. In this session, learn the tools to move from being an ally to an active accomplice.

About Kearie Daniel - In Her Own Words

I’m a mom of two. I’m also a communicator by trade and lead consultant at KAMA Communications, an inclusive communications and marketing agency. I focus on communications centred in equity, anti-oppression and driven by an anti-Black racism lens. While my professional accomplishments fuel me, what gives me life and inspiration (besides my kids) is the activism and advocacy work I do on behalf of Black parents. I am a proud founding steering committee member of an organization called Parents of Black Children, an organization dedicated to driving transformational change for Black kids in Ontario’s education system.
