Welcome autumn with us
Our annual event is back with its usual charm. Cohosted with our neighbors Totest Aleng: Indigenous Learning House, expect demonstrations, harvest themed crafts and a vendor market featuring local makers and organizations.
Cedar Sage and Sweetgrass will be onsite with a roster of vendors as well. They are an eclectic community of indigenous artists who are inspired by each other and who want to share their work in new ways. They share the unique perspectives of First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples.
Performances
Join us on the grass from 11:30am to noon for a special performance by Madelaine McCallum.
Surrey's very own Re-enactors will be in the park as well. Don't miss their monologues on the lawn between the farmhouse and river at the following times:
- 11:10am - Irene Bourassa
- 12:30pm - Mary Jane Shannon school lesson
- 1:30pm - Eric Anderson
- 2:30pm - Mary Jane Shannon
Workshop
Sheila Rae Lowe is offering a corn husk doll workshop in the studio at Totest Aleng from 1 to 3pm. Visitors may register in Stewart Hall from 11am to 1pm. There is a $10 supply fee.
