The Bergmann Duo is excited to welcome back their friend, violinist Jasper Wood to perform a programme that includes some of the best-known tunes and music from movies such as, Scent of a Woman, Schindler’s List and Cinema Paradiso. This spring Musical Morning boasts an evocative programme that will enchant and inspire listeners to immerse themselves in narratives that only music can tell.
About the Bergmann Duo
Elizabeth and Marcel Bergmann have been performing together as a duo since 1989, and their dynamic and energetic performances of uniquely eclectic programs have inspired audiences for more than two decades. The duo, who are laureates of the Dranoff International Two Piano Competition, perform a wide variety of repertoire and styles, and enjoy dazzling audiences around the world at festivals and on tour. Their recitals and concerts with orchestras have taken them all over the world, including the United States, Italy, Germany, Holland, Greece, and Canada.

About Jasper Wood
Canadian violinist Jasper Wood has established a flourishing reputation as a soloist through his frequent performances with many of North America’s finest orchestras, in cities such as Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg, Buffalo, and throughout Europe. He has performed under the batons of Gregory Novak, George Cleve, Georg Tintner, Bramwell Tovey, and Miguel Harth-Bedoya. Jasper has also garnered acclaim for his dazzling performances as a recitalist and chamber musician which have taken him to major cities worldwide, including performances at venues such as Dame Myra Hess (Chicago), Carnegie Weill Recital Hall (New York) and the Toronto Centre for the Performing Arts.
