Museum of Surrey Tour
10:00am-12:00pm at Museum of Surrey
Enjoy a guided tour of the Surrey Story Gallery upstairs. Glimpse into the pioneer life and the evolution of Surrey. Then we’ll move to the Textile studio for a in depth look at our looms and the growth of textiles in Surrey. Finally, we’ll head downstairs for a curated tour of the new Meditation exhibit in the feature gallery.

Literature Club for Seniors

Then the Literature Club for Seniors is for you! Every week features a different literary piece read by a staff member. This program is presented in partnership with Brella Community Services.

Try It: Indoor Cycling 55+

Enjoy a non-impact workout. Learn how to set up your bike and get an introduction to a variety of cycling drills, including hill climbs, sprints, and intervals. Cycling portion will be approximately 30 minutes. No prior experience necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to ride!
One on One Technology Help

Book a one-on-one technology help in a friendly atmosphere. Bring your questions and your device! We will help you with questions about Computer Basics — mousing, internet searching, Microsoft Word; Tablet basics — downloading apps, eBooks, magazines; Essentials of using eReaders or laptops; and Cyber safety basics – how to be safe while using the Internet. Surrey Libraries is not able to diagnose or repair hardware issues.

Garden Work Party: Glades Woodland Garden

Help with the care and maintenance of Surrey's beautiful gardens. Learn horticultural skills like pruning and weeding directly from our head gardeners! Tools and training provided. Program is best suited for 16 years old and up.
Registered program through MyImpact, we do also take drop-in volunteers.
English Conversation Circle

Practice speaking English as we discuss a different topic each week in a welcoming and friendly group setting. All English language learners are welcome
