- Meet City staff from our Community Art, Cultural Grants, Community Enhancement and Public Art teams.
- Learn about artist opportunities offered by the City.

June 7: Storywalk Workshop
11:00am-12:00pm at Newton Recreation Centre, Outdoors (13730 72 Ave)
Drop in to this free workshop to learn how to create a StoryWalk® in your neighborhood and make your very own pages. This fun and educational activity promotes literacy and outdoor play by displaying storybook pages along a walking route, inviting readers to experience the story one page at a time while enjoying a stroll in nature. In partnership with Read Surrey White Rock.
June 20: How to make a Mini Food Garden
6:00-7:00pm at Fraser Heights Recreation Centre, Multipurpose Room 5 (10588 160 St)
Drop in to this free workshop and learn how to create your very own food garden and bring it to life right in your neighborhood! Take-home plant seedlings will be provided to participants, while supplies last. In partnership with KPU's Sustainable Food Systems and Security Program.
July 3: Planting in Tree Wells
6:00-7:00pm at Newton Seniors Centre, Outdoors (13775 70 Ave)
Join us for a free, hands-on workshop and help enhance your neighborhood by planting pollinator plants in tree wells. Participants will receive take-home pollinator plant seedlings, while supplies last.
