Join us to get tips on how to be prepared for an emergency and enter to win an emergency kit.
Members from the Surrey Emergency Program, Surrey Police Service, South Fraser Search and Rescue, and Surrey Emergency Program Amateur Radio will be in attendance with displays and information.
Participation will be on a first come, first serve basis.
About the Quake Cottage
Quake Cottage is Canada's only mobile earthquake simulator.
The Quake Cottage simulator provides an educational experience of what it is like to go through a major earthquake and how to prepare. Up to three individuals can be seated at one time to experience the 30-second simulation. Some time will be give to participants to answer questions before and after the experience. There will be loud sounds and graphic images during the ride.
